Marion is passionately dedicated to the social, economic and political development of Africa. She studied Business Administration at Macquarie University in Australia, graduating in 2006. She then worked in marketing, media and customer service roles for large corporate companies in Kenya and Uganda, where she gained a reputation for customer-oriented, results-focused performance and built her knowledge and skills in business process design and management. In 2011, with a focus in the agriculture sector, she left formal employment to set up Wanda Agriculture Group expressly to develop and offer market-based solutions to poverty.
Alex graduated in 2004 with a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. He began his career as a Foreign Exchange Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London till 2006. He then worked for Standard Bank in Nairobi and Johannesburg as a Financial Markets Trader, making investments for the bank on foreign exchange and interest rates market in Sub Saharan Africa. From 2012 Alex has made several long term equity investments in listed and unlisted companies on the financial services and technology industries. He is currently an Executive Director at Sterling Capital, an Investment Bank in Kenya.
David graduated in 1993 from Nairobi University with a degree in Commerce. He held various positions and also pursued further studies at INSEAD graduating in 2005 after which he has held senior managerial roles – financial and operational - across East Africa in the mining, energy and agribusiness sectors.
Dharmendra graduated in 1997 with a degree in agriculture and rural marketing form Acharya Ranga University in India adding an MBA in 2001. He has worked in senior positions in the agribusiness sector for over 20 years with large multinationals across India and Africa.
